From Aspiration to Achievement
Take a look at the impact I've made on my students and the journey that I was able to help them get to. Below are the achievements that my students have made with my guidance.

Tempe High First in the State
One of my proudest moments came when the Tempe High School marching band clinched 1st place. This wasn't just a victory; it was the First time in a very long time Tempe has ever won championship for Marching band, everyone had to play their part in order to make it happen. Working closely with them for a second year, I saw a remarkable transformation, building a program that truly understood what it meant to excel.

Percussion Champions
Being the Percussion director at Tempe Highschool I run the Drumline as well as the Front ensemble. Working with this program over the past 2 years I feel like I had to go above and beyond in order to guide my students to know what it feels like to win. This past Fall the percussion section for Tempe was able to win percussion performance for State Champs on top of their first-place win, this hasn't happened in over multiple decades. Their commitment and hard work really came through and showed up for their final run. This plaque on the side is our medal for us winning in state.

Defying expectations
Looking at my students' achievements, it really makes me want to become the best teacher possible so that I can help them become the best musician. I believe that every student should be able to take music and understand that there is more to this world than just core classes and that music is a outlet for stress. My students' achievements are a huge reason to why I continue to teach.
