Get to Know Me

For me, music isn't just a subject; It's a vital part of life. I believe everyone deserves to experience the power of music – to express emotions, understand diverse cultures, and achieve success in ways they never imagined. My passion lies in guiding students to find their unique rhythm and flourish.

My Musical Journey

I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and grew up in the Mesa/Tempe valley, I began my musical talents at the age of 11 at Aprende Middle School. I then became more serious about my musical ability in high school at Corona Del Sol. I was a part of multiple different music programs in high school; I focused most of my talents towards front ensemble where I was able to be a part of the Corona Del Sol Front ensemble in Marching Band. I was also able to be a part of the steel band program that they had to offer, we played in California for Disney and were also able to play in the Fiesta Bowl parade on a float! I was then to be a part of WGI for Corona Del Sols Percussion ensemble. Later on in my high school years I was able to be a part of an independent percussion group in the valley called Breakthrough Indoor Percussion.

Personal Interests

Some things that I really have found interest in, in the past couple of years are sunsets, I have so many pictures of sunsets and I love seeing the day start and end. Some other things that I enjoy are writing music, playing drum set and trying new restaurants. A fun fact about me is 90% of my drum set ability comes from watching shows and playing along while watching the show!

My Band

I'm a part of a band! The name of the band is Conservation of Chaos, we're a Metal/Rock band. We have played at many different venues in the valley, we also were apart of battle of the bands at Arizona State University. We currently have a keyboardist a bass player two guitars and a drummer which is me :). I really enjoy this hobby of mine and still be able to show off my musical talents.

Favorite foods

I've been to many restaurants , and I really enjoy trying new places to eat in the valley. Some of my favorite foods are ramen, sushi, Mexican food, and pasta. I'm always down to try new opportunities and explore new restaurants. One thing about me is I really enjoy baking! I make cookies and sugary sweets, I also really enjoy making foods with my dad and learn how to make dishes.

"I'm absolutely committed to my students' success. I believe that music education is just as important as any core class because music is a vital component in young adults' lives, fostering expression, discipline, and understanding. I will always go above and beyond to ensure they thrive."
